Negroni is a variant of Americano, a popular aperitif in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. The bartender who invented it followed the instructions of Count Negroni, who, tired of drinking the same Americano over and over again, asked for a stronger cocktail with gin.



  • 2 cl of Campari
  • 2 cl of Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 cl of Gin



Pour the gin, Campari and red vermouth directly into a whisky glass filled with ice cubes. Mix gently with a mixing spoon and decorate with a half orange washer or one rosemary sprig.

To prepare a Negroni for 10, 20, 30 or 40 people, simply multiply the quantities indicated in the original recipe by the number of glasses desired.
